June 12th and 13th 2010 12 pm to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 6 pm . OSU Water Shuttle 16 hour class . Need Bunker Gear.
June 19th 2010 8am to 5 pm Saturday. OSU EVDT 8 Hour Class. Location Toppers Fire Dept. Need to sign up through OSU web site.
August 27th and 28th 2010 6:30 to 10 pm Friday and Saturday 7 am to 1 pm. . OSU Vehicle Extraction 16 hour class. Location Toppers Fire Dept. Need to sign up through OSU web site. Need Bunker Gear.
Dirt Work for the drives around the department were supposed to be completed by the county but they stopped working on it long before completion. We have had to contract the work and it is slowly progressing.
Dirt Work in the front of the department is almost complete. Dirt work in the back will only consist of adding more gravel and leveling out.
The dirt work should include managing drainage around the department and keep runoff from going to neighbors property.
Flag Pole is being installed and the Smokey The Bear sign is also being installed.
A proposal has been made to put the lighted advertising sign next to the building and between the office and bay entries. Will need to add an outlet for it to the outside of the building.

Fire Station buildout is complete and we have started moving in. Wheeler Metals, Muskogee OK did a great job in getting the old building removed and the new one up. Took just over 9 weeks and was a bit over their estimated time but it was to be expected I think.
The next big things are to get the driveway around the back and the new road entry made. Have to wait for dryer conditions and county crews to get that done. We are going to have an open house in October I think. We hope to get all of Stonebluff to come look over the new digs and maybe we can get some new volunteers.
