FIRE DEPARTMENT BUILDING ACTIVITY

Here is a list of things we are going to be trying to add to the new Fire Department

• Addition of an exhaust fan on the north side of the building to clear vehicle exhaust.
• Addition of exhaust fans to the restrooms.
• Addition of a large sink next to the front 12ft door.
• Expand the entryway and tin horn in front of the fire department to about 70 feet, tying in to the existing entry from the highway.
• Addition of a 2inch waterline and valve inside or just outside or along the driveway to refil trucks. This replaces the 2" cleanout by the road that may have to be moved due to above entry expansion.
• Adding a rear personel door in the rear training room with walkway in the rear.
• Increase the size of the awning in front of the office area and possibly in the rear of the department.
• Stairs to the second level.
• Interior windows in both offices to the truck bay.
• Central AIr Conditioning and Heating.
• Generator site pad. Est. 6x8 foot concrete. May expand for propane tank also.
• Addition of kitchen area in the training room. Cabinets, sink, stove, cooking area.
• Estimates for building in or finishing the upper level.
• Estimates for dirt work and driveway around the building and parking lot on south side.
